Description: This is a lovely bronze Finnish Kalevala Koru signed 1960s era necklace and pendant featuring a design based on a piece that was discovered from the Viking era in Kokemaki, Finland. The pendant features two bears riding horses, an ornate border below and six bell style tassels attached. The total length of chain (not including is 24 inches and has no clasp and is meant to be slipped over head. It is a thick, double round linked chain. The pendant is 3 inches long and 2.5 inches wide. The back is signed KK for the company. This piece is in great condition but there is some light verdegris here and there. It adds a touch of aged look to the piece, but can likely be cleaned as well. This is a neat Scandinavian piece and has a traditional, folkloric look and is quite collectible.
