Description: This beautiful storage box features applied sheets of ornate embossed brass in designs of florals and an elephant in the center. From my understanding, this piece was originally sold at World Market as part of their Kadiri collection. The sections of exposed wood feature a black lacquer finish. The hinged lid has a small pin that helps to keep it securely closed. Possibly used for jewelry or the storing of papers or other trinkets. Most likely made in India.Measures approx 11-7/8" long, 7-7/8" wide, 3" tall.The condition is as shown in the photographs. No foul, pet or smoke odors. Flaws and patina are a natural esthetic.
