Here's how I visually grade Vinyl: NM - record surface is glossy, no blemishes, and record appears to have been played only once or twice. EX- record surface is mostly glossy, one or less minor blemish per side, no scratches. VG+ - gloss loss, no more than a few minor blemishes on the record, no scratches. VG - loss of gloss, blemishes apparent, one scratch, but does not affect playing. G - no gloss on surface, record may be scratch, some hisses and pops. I only post hard to find records with a G rating. Label - I call out any issues, such as stickers, labels or written on names. Sleeves - If the sleeve is present I rate it visually.
