Description: Here is a wonderful very rare lot of 4 small 3" by 4" autographed photos of actress Julie Adams, from the mid-1950s. Unusually early and unusual to see such small photos autographed and especially inscribed. From the estate of her fan club's secretary. Although she appeared in more than 25 movies in the 1950s, Julie Adams (born in 1926) is best known as the imperiled heroine of The Creature From the Black Lagoon (1954). Since the late 1950s, she has been primarily a TV actress, guest starring on such programs as Alfred Hitchcock Presents and, in the 1990s, many episodes of Murder, She Wrote. She also played Amanda Eaton in Yancy Derringer (1958-1959) and Jimmy Stewart's wife on The Jimmy Stewart Show (1971-1972). Minor ink loss/ink skipping. Very rare this early.
