The evening was a celebration of Jule Styne at age 81 and a gala benefit for The Friends Of The Theatre Collection Of The Museum Of The City Of New York. The cast included Peter Nero conducting a symphony orchestra with selections from GYPSY, HIGH BUTTON SHOES, FUNNY GIRL, HALLELAUJAH BABY, BELLS ARE RINGING, SUGAR, PETER PAN and GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONES; Cy Coleman, Marvin Hamlisch, Burton Lane and Charles Strouse all honoring Jule Styne at four pianos; and (listed only as a galaxy of the greatest stars) Liza Minelli, Maurice Hines, Betty Comden, Adolph Green, Dolores Gray, Dorothy Loudon and Carol Channing. Staged by Donald Saddler. The program is complete. This is NOT a reproduction!! Note: This is a regular Playbill size program. Condition is near excellent with minor wear.
