Description: Travel back in time with this Joseph Guarnerius copy violin. With a 14'' body and a 23-1/2'' scale length body, it is a 4/4, full-size violin. Two-piece flame maple back. Flame maple sides and neck. Spruce top. Four fine tuners. Ebony nut and fingerboard (I think). Cosmetically, it looks pretty good. There are some scuffs and scrapes, particularly on the back. There is a tight crack on the top on the treble side lower bout next to the tailpiece (please see photo). It's either been repaired or it doesn't go all the way through. It comes with a bow marked as made in Japan. It comes in an old Bulls Head case. The case is quite worn, but all the latches, hinges, and handle work. Newer strings. It's a fine old violin, ready for a new owner. Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new 32"x19"x7" stout cardboard instrument box.
