Josef Originals December Musical Box Christmas Cards Poinsettias Figurine Music

Description: Here's a beautiful, and collectible, music box by Josef Originals of Japan. It plays "Bless this House", and was probably made in the 1960s. A young woman, by the looks of her, appears to be addressing Christmas cards with a quill type pen. She is wearing a full length pink dress adorned with red poinsettias and gold on the front. She has holly leaves and berries in her hair. This piece measures approximately 6" tall. The figurine is in excellent condition with no damage and no noted wear. She does have a surface separation, from the manufacturing process, on the inside of her left elbow (see photo). The plastic stand has a couple of hairline type cracks near center. The stand will turn about 2 or 3 rotations and she will play 2 or 3 lines of music, but it is stiff and finicky.I can't guarantee how long it will play without cleaning and/or oiling (if that's even possible).
