Up for your purchasing pleasure is this lovely absolutely fabulous modernist sterling round link bracelet with bead dot accents and round designs from Taxco, Mexico. Taxco, Mexico, often called the silver capital of the world for the beauty of its creations; this amazing bracelet with does not disappoint. It is stamped TF-13 Mexico 925. Mexico adopted this hallmark style in the 1970s, where the first letter stands for the city in which the artist lived, the second the first letter of the craftmans last name. The number represents the order of registry. Unfortunately, Mexico did not keep records here so its often hard to know who the artist is who created this piece. HOWEVER, we do in this case; Billie Hougart's third edition of "Mexican Silver Hallmarks" attributes TF-13 to Jose Luis Flores. The T stands for Taxco, 13 means Mr. Flores was the 13th with the initial F to register. More information on Mexican hallmarks can be found on the wonderful site 925-1000 dot com. Bracelet measures about 7.2 inches, weighs 33.1 grams, and is in decent used condition with the normal scuffs and scratches vintage items get over their lives. However, its really tarnished and I did not want to clean it as some of that might be patina and you might find it glorious; true patina of old sterling is lovely. Decorative props are for size comparison and stylistic use only; please, no returns. The shipping time varies for international buyers; for American buyers I should have it in the mail a few days or so after I get paid; I take items to the post office. At times there may be a delay as a medical condition can keep me from driving. Then its all up to how fast the post office goes; but you will have tracking numbers to see where it is.
