It comes with a Roy Motley Certificate of Authenticity. It shows nice use and great patination. It is made from a beautiful piece of Crowley's Ridge Cobble. It has great edge work and a nice form overall. There is no modern damage. Johnson points are Early to Middle Archaic in age, ranging from 5,000 to 9,000 years old! I have no doubt such a fantastic, near first-stage form Johnson point like this one will make an excellent addition to any authentic collection. This point is many times better in the hand then the picture would lead you to believe. I just could not capture the flaking and thinness but I assure you it is there! Size 3.38 inches in length.
