Guitarist and songwriter John Ogden later went on to front the Ashtabula, Ohio based garage rock band The Triumphs who released two singles for the New York based Genuine label and were active for a few years in the late 1960s, recording their first single at the famed Chess studios in Chicago. This Johnny & the Volumes single appears to be the only record the band ever put out and is so rare in fact that copies of the original 45 RPM sell for big bucks on collector's sites.
