Description: JOHNNY NEUN DETROIT TIGERS AUTOGRAPHED 1927 UNASSISTED TRIPLE PLAY BOX SCORE On May 31, 1927, Tigers first basemen Johnny Neun recorded the 7th unassisted triple play in baseball history, a game-ending feat in the 9th inning against the Cleveland Indians. (Amazingly, the 6th unassisted triple play had occurred just a day earlier, recorded by SS Jimmy Cooney of the Cubs.) .Photocopy of the box score has been signed and dated by Neun in blue ink at the top, and apparently a second time near the bottom, though it's not clear if that second signature is genuine or part of the photocopy. EX condition w/ fold/crease near right edge. Piece measures approximately 6x9".
