Description: For the Baseball Hobbyist... 1922 American Caramel Company (E121) Series of 120 cards JOHN LAVAN ~ St. Louis Cardinals Issued in 1972 by The Card Memorabilia Associates, Limited (TCMA) Half a century ago on the 50th anniversary of American Caramel's 1922 baseball card set, The Card Memorabilia Associates, Limited (TCMA) reprinted dozens of cards from the set collectors have designated by the American Card Catalog number E121. This is one of those cards which, although a reprint of the original, has become sought by collectors in recent years. Quality control was not what it would eventually become for TCMA. Consequently, these TCMA reprint cards vary in size, averaging between 2" by 3-1/4" to 2-1/4" by 3-1/2". (Actual size of the originals is the smaller 2" X 3-1/4".) Cards were not numbered. Card has "@TCMA REPRINT 1972" imprinted on reverse. We recently acquired two small collections with multiples of some cards, including variations. ANY number of single cards (up to and including 8" by 10" in size) will be shipped for the one single-card shipping cost IF the buyer will request and wait for a combined invoice before paying.
