Publisher's blind-stamped maroon cloth, with gilt decoration and blue / gilt lettering to upper cover and gilt lettering and decoration to spine. All edges gilt. Size: 8vo (22.5cm x 15.8cm).Good to Very Good condition. Binding pretty solid but just starting to strain in the gutter between pages 32 and 33. Light rubbing to cloth, including to head and foot of spine. Corners rubbed. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown (Robert J. Hayhurst). Scattered foxing and handling marks to some leaves, moderate in places. A couple of plates with rather more foxing than the others. Final as leaf foxed.
