JOE NAMATH signed for an unheard-of $400,000 as a rookie with the AFL New York Jets in 1965. Four years later, after guaranteeing victory, he led the Jets to a stunning 16-7 upset victory over the 17-point favorite Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III. Namath passed for 27,663 yards and 173 TDs. He was the first to pass more than 4,000 yards in one season. He was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985. Heisman Trophy winner and Dallas Cowboy TONY DORSETT was named rookie of the year after gaining 1,007 yards in 208 attempts in 1977. His career totals include catching 382 passes for 3,544 yards, 16,326 combined net yards, and 90 touchdowns. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1994. ACE PARKER (1912-2013) would run, pass, receive, punt, placekick, return punts and play defense. Along with all this he also played Professional Baseball. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1972. DAN FOUTS played for the San Diego Chargers; he was a six-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro. He was voted NFL Most Valuable Player in 1982 and AFC Player of Year in 1979 and 1982. Fouts was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1993. Heisman Trophy winner ROGER STAUBACH joined the Dallas Cowboys as a 27-year-old rookie in 1969 and didn't win the regular quarterbacking job from until his third season in 1971. For the nine seasons he was in command of the potent Cowboys attack, Dallas played in six NFC championship games, winning four of them, and also scored victories in Super Bowls VI and XII. The 6-3, 200-pound Staubach wound up his career after the 1979 season with an 83.4 passing rating, the best mark by an NFL passer up to that time. His career chart shows 1,685 completions in 2,958 passing attempts, which were good for 22,700 yards and 153 touchdowns. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985. JOHN MACKEY (1941-2011) starred as tight end of the Baltimore Colts (1963-1971), he averaged 15.8 yards gained per pass for his career. One of his career highlights was in Super Bowl V, where he caught a Johnny Unitas pass previously touched by two other players and raced to a 75-yard touchdown. The Colts won the game 16-13 over Dallas. Mackey entered the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1992. LEO NOMELLINI played in 174 straight regular-season games. The defensive tackle was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1969. PAUL KRAUS played free safety; in his exceptional rookie season he led the NFL in interceptions with twelve. In 1968 after four seasons with a total of 28 interceptions the Redskins traded him to the Minnesota Vikings. He would play for Minnesota until his last game in 1979. During those years Kraus joined his teammates in four Super Bowl appearances. He retired as history's all-time interception leader with 81. In 1998 he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. OZZIE NEWSOME was a tight end for the Cleveland Browns. He became the leading tight end receiver in NFL history with 662 receptions for 7.980 yards and 47 touchdowns. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999. Fine condition.
