Description: A fine oil still life painting, signed lower left "Tomao", measuring 20" by 24" (29" by 33" framed), featuring fruit (including a cleaved in half pineapple, beautifully rendered), a bottle, goblet, and tea/coffee pot. The artist, Jennie Tomao (1934-2011) was born in New York City, where she attended the New York School of Music and Art. She married the artist Charles Bragg in the early 1950's, after which they lived for a time in Detroit. The artistic couple moved to Los Angeles in 1956, setting up in Beverly Hills and creating beautiful art. Tomao was the mother of artist Charles Lynn Bragg. Many of Tomao's works have been made into print editions. This painting is in excellent condition.
