It Seems very futuristic to me… There are 2 tags sewn into dress, and 2 paper hang tags hanging from dress. Inner fabric label reads Penney’s Brentwood All Cotton White Cloth type tag reads Co 114 B RN 30366 ( the 3 is blurry so that number is a guess) 100 % cotton Style 3566 1125 Size 22 1/2” Outer store paper tags read 4 Yard Sweep Guaranteed washable Price tag reads Penney’s 2K - 6897- 201- 3566-21- 24 Original price was 2.50 I laid dress out on a table to measure as best I could so you can get an idea of overall size. Dress measures approximately 7” across inside neck 24” across shoulder seam to seam 22” across seam to seam at armpits 18 1/2” - 19” across waist 16” long bodice 29” long skirt 45” long in total length 58” along skirt bottom stretched flat Belt is fabric over vinyl cardboard type construction with some bending or creasing from storage and handling and was made by Qual-I-Tex Belt measures approximately 42” long and says it is 22 1/2” size. The front has a couple plastic buttons with Clear Rhinestone Centers. The Yoke is stitched with loops design to edges as added trim. Belt loops through string to the waist areas Please ask questions as I am not a seamstress or textile expert so my measurements could be off slightly since these are kinda hard to measure. I do not know actual age of this particular dress but it looks to be “somewhere in between” the 1930s 1940s or 1950s era. This is a Farm Fresh Find from a quilters estate in which the original owner had been buying these to cut up to make quilts from many years ago. This preowned vintage cotton ? textile dress had been stored away in someone’s fabric stash for decades… so it does have wrinkles and old stale scent from storage.
