J.B. Owens Pottery 12" Tall Matt Utopian Pitcher, Haubrich

Description: Circa early 1900's, this Albert Haubrich for J.B. Owens Pottery Matt Utopian handled pitcher, shape number 1015, stands 12.25" tall and from the handle across is 5.5". This Arts & Crafts period pitcher, is finished in a bisque colored glaze and is decorated with pastel colored cherries on vines and leaves coming off stems. In overall good condition, there are three very small flecks at the rim and as pictured a drill hole under base. No other chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Artist initialed, shape 1015 on the base, similarly decorated shapes can be found in the Collector's Guide to Owens Pottery.
