From the foothills of the Kittatinny Mountain Range, in Northwest New Jersey, land of the Lenape Indians come some of the oldest forests in the U.S. The mighty Red Oak, Maple, & Pine provided the tribe with shelter (wigwams), tools, and firewood. After 100’s of years many of the trees have reached their life span. These dead branches and stumps called Snag’s are natures gifts, and now serve us as Bonsai Planters. Each Planter has been cultivated, strengthened, and designed to hold Bonsai soil, with the ability to drain properly. They have been treated to be able to withstand the harsh winters, and hot summers often found in the Northeast. Each planter is 100% natural, using only glue, tung oil, and imagination to create a beautiful crib to hold your tree. No ceramics, cements, resins or any artificial materials have been used. The Snags are designed to be somewhat shallow, preventing the roots from spreading too much, which in turn controls the overall size and development of the tree.
