Description: This exquisite woodblock print by Gekko Ogata depicts a beautiful winter landscape with a stunning bijin in traditional Japanese attire. Originating from Japan, this print dates back to the early 20th century, specifically between 1890-1920, and is a wonderful example of Japanese art from that period. These were fold-out prints from a Japanese magazine from c.1910. This piece is in pretty good shape, there are 2 folds from the original magazine fold-out. The wood frame has some scratches and chips. I don't know how old the frame and glass are, I pulled up the backing cardboard to take a picture.
