Description: Japanese Pair of Satsuma Vases Jacksons Antique are pleased to offer this pair of Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) Satsuma Vases. The vases of globular shape unusually raised upon tripod feet with a tightly pinched neck. The vase has four square scenes depicting flowers, figures and buildings. Each scene is surrounded by beautiful gilt scrolling borders finished with polychrome flowers to the next. The underside is signed with a two character mark for Furuyama 古山. Condition Excellent condition no damage or restoration. Please be aware all the items we sell are not new.
