This board came to us from residual inventory that we acquired from Gilfer & Associates that sold shortwave equipment for about 30 years and then closed in the mid 1990's. While we have 4 boards, one of them has been opened but apparently this was done years ago at Gilfer. We cannot guarantee that you will get the sealed bag, but we can tell you that you will receive the NOS (new old stock) board. Obtaining spare parts for this receiver can be a challenge and if you are looking for them, you may have to wrestle to locate them. Thus, this spare board can offer you a chance to repair your receiver or to tuck it away in reserve so that it may be called upon in the future for a repair. Installation is simple as this is a true plug & play module as designed by the engineers at JRC for this NRD-525 receiver. Feel free to ask any questions.
