The case does have areas of mirror-like finish which are prone to hairlines (marks visible when with high resolution cameras or if angled at certain lighting). The watch comes with the original warranty card (dated 2012), a JLC service pouch as well as service records which state that the watch underwent a full factory service at JLC. The case is made of high-polish finished stainless steel while the case back is of brush-finished stainless steel. It is currently mounted on an unworn tan-colored ostrich skin strap that is paired with a stainless steel JLC double-folding deployment buckle. Time is displayed on a silver guilloche dial that is accompanied by blued steel hands and black Arabic numerals. As for the reverse side, it is a solid stainless steel back which is ideal for personal engravings or playing polo (which was what it was initially made for). The most recent service was done in August-2024, the watch passed through both JLC's and our in-house service centers and passed the quality control tests which implies that it is running up to manufacturer's standards. The watch will undergo another set of quality control tests before being shipped. A full one year warranty and certificate of authenticity will be issued.
