Description: Here is a Jackson Performer RR ( Rhodes ) made in Japan 96-98 era, reversed headstock with super low action. This is NOT the "modern" Jackson, post Fender ownership . This is the real jackson when it was owned by jackson before Fender bought it just to destroy the brand.. It's considered a super rare guitar because of the reversed headstock, which was not common on this type of body through the 90s. I learned that it was not uncommon for factories in Japan to make one-off guitars or special dealer exclusive limited runs. The guitar was all black before I added the red details. The stock pickups were upgraded with EMG Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest (bridge) that sounds exactly like the EMG 81 but with the mids a little scooped and EMG 60 on the neck. The original fretboard dots were covered with reversed crosses vynil decals( hope nobody gets offended here - ha ha ). The Jackson logo was also covered with a red vynil decal logo. The red EMG has a 'BADASS' sticker on it. The extremities of the body ( horns ) was decorated with a red vynil sticker to complement the devilish out-of-hell theme. ( I'm a huge fan of Possessed ! ) All decals can be easily removed if you wish. The input jack is also red. The bridge is a Floyd Rose II and you can literally abuse on dive bombs without worrying about getting out of tune EVER ! There is no cracks or dings anywhere around this guitar. Only a few light scratches that you can only notice if you look extremely close, which is not bad for a 28 year old guitar. Is tuned in drop B with 12-56 Ernie balls string. This axe sounds absolutely heavy on my ENGL Savage ! Comes with the original back plate ( that i removed, to get easy access to the springs ) and the Jackson hardcase.
