Description: The Jackson JS Series Spectra Bass JS3-V, with its offset body style, was designed with the artist in mind. The poplar body with quilt maple top features a large upper horn that evenly distributes weight throughout the instrument, providing perfect balance by reducing neck dive for hours of comfortable playing. A graphite-reinforced bolt-on maple neck with scarf joint design generates formidable sustain, while the speed neck contour and 12"-16" compound radius laurel fingerboard (with 24 frets) make for lightning-fast playability. The Spectra Bass JS3-V provides a sound that is as unique as the bassist playing it. Dual passive Jackson medium-output humbucking pickups create a monstrous low-end growl, while a HiMass bridge provides rock-solid stability, improved sustain and bolder tone. Jackson JS3-V Spectra 5 String Bass Click images to enlarge Description About this bass: This bass came to my supplier directly from Jackson, it has never been sold retail it still has the protective covers on the pickups, bridge, truss rod cover, the back of the tuners and the back plates. It was tested by a team of factory technicians, all electronics are working as designed, the neck is straight, the frets are level, and there are no cracks or dings on the body. When we polished bass we found some very light blemishes on the back below the battey compartment. I have included a picture pointing to them, but they are too light to show in a picture. . The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair. Who refurbishes your instruments? All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier. Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty? No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty. Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it? All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box. However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and getting bumped around during shipping. What identifies an instrument as being refurbished? Most refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock and are issued a new serial number. This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher. Payment I require payment within 1 day. I prefer PayPal.
