Description: Doctor Sax by Jack Kerouac. First UK edition, first impression 1977 published by Andre Deutsch. (Originally published in the USA by Grove Press in 1959). Pale green dustjacket has been price clipped, but has publishers price sticker, so presumably this was repriced by the publisher. Spine with some fading, some faint marks to the back but generally a nice clean jacket in a removable protective wrapper. Red covers with silver titles to spine, square, minor bumping to corners, very minor spotting to top edge. Pages clean and bright with no inscriptions. Very good condition. Said to be Kerouac's favourite book of his own writing. Will be carefully bubblewrapped and packed in a cardboard bookwrap or a box. Please see my other listings for more Kerouac first editions.
