This is the one of the marbles from the very beginning run from the newly formed JABO Company marble team. This particular marble showcases the characteristics that made this company famous for high quality marbles. There was even extra care given to cushion the marbles as they fell into the metal bins at the bottom of the marble run. This is just one example of how the JABO Joker Team took extra special care with this very famous marble production run. This Joker 1 marble has that exceptional Ruby Red glass that is bright and shiny. It has nice surface quality and contains multiple glass swirls including not only Ruby Red, but also green aventurine, tangerine and yellow. If you love JABOs as much as I do, you must have at least one of these Ruby Reds in your collection. This Ruby Red Joker has a little special surprise: this is actually from a famous family in this famous run called "Parrots". Technically, any Joker 1 marble that has blue colored glass in it is called a parrot. See that nice little stripe of baby blue glass next to the mahogany oxblood? Now, some Parrots have a full spectrum of swirls next to the blue glass to give a somewhat of a rainbow effect. You might call these King Parrots. This particular Parrot is one we might call the Queen Parrot. This is not official, but just a category suggestion to differentiate some very closely related collectable JABO marble types...but the Joker 1 Parrot nomenclature is absolutely correct in this case for this particular marble. I can honestly say that this Ruby Red is a classic collector series and you just can't go wrong here. You will enjoy this one for a long time. I rotate my marbles 360 degrees so you can see every side of the marble, not just the best side. I use a Canon Rebel DSLR camera with built-in flash to show every single little detail so you know exactly what you are getting. My end goal is no surprises on every single customer transaction. This marble was made on the 3/4" machine and measures 0.721" in diameter.
