To be honest, I really shouldn't be selling this marvel and it should be put away in my keeper vault. However, I believe that we need to share some of these special ones amongst our collector colleagues. So, have fun reading about this rare gem! The Indian Summer run is one of the most classic and desirable runs within the JABO top runs along with Joker 1, Hillbilly Magic and a few others. The Indian Summer run is a very popular run amongst JABO collectors because of the bright beautiful palette of colors used in the manufacturing process along with other extremely vivid colors. This particular Indian Summer marble happens to be a very rare marble that can be considered the "Cream of the Crop". The ruby red oxblood swirls are plentiful on this gem and they set the basic design form as in many other Indian Summer oxblood examples. However, this is where things get much for interesting...The base glass is a nice lemon colored glass with a very unique baby blue gradient that gently changes from yellow to blue. This is a very custom effect and it complements the amazing confetti glass frit pieces that qualify this marble as the Guinea nomenclature. This has to be one of my favorite Indian Summer marbles in my whole collection. I only have two of these out of hundreds, so that gives you a feeling of the rarity. My apologies ahead of time for the higher price, but indeed you get what you pay for. Time to splurge for the New Year, right? At least that is what I tell myself this time of year. :-) There is one more very notable feature that is easily seen and more rare than everything described thus far. If you look closely at the last 2 pictures (especially the last one), you will see something very rare called a "cyclone". This is a special type of drizzle where the marble spins about it's axis as the drizzle is forming. Most collectors will snap these up quickly for a centerpiece marble. If you were one of the lucky ones to read through this description to the end...congrats and good luck! I take high resolution pictures with a Canon Rebel DSL with built-in flash in order to illuminate every small detail possible. I rotate the marble to give all possible angles so you can see exactly what you are getting. This marble was made on the 3/4" marble machine and it measures a relatively larger 0.775" in diameter with a pair of electronic calipers.
