Estes from his orchard in Toppenish shipped the first full car load of Apples from the Yakima Valley in 1909. He displayed a full train car load of Newtown Pippins during the 1910 Spokane National Apple show and won First Prize for a full train car load of Spitzenburg Apples during the 1913 Spokane National Apple show.
