A new fly-leaf at either end. Four parts in one volume, text is complete. The clasps being fully functional. Leather shows mostly light rubs with a few small sections of loss to rear board, and light bruising to fore-corners. Block is sturdy with leaves that are clear, crisp, and lightly age-goldened. Heavier toning to first title, a small and light water stain to fore-margin of some leaves through to p3, and a margin worm-hole from second fly-leaf to p71/72 - no text affected. First title-page and upper corner of first leaf of text both have a previous owner name crossed-out in old ink, and there is a previous owner inscription in old ink with 1746 date to second fly-leaf verso.
