Description: This classic duck call came from my father's collection. He's no longer hunting and it's time for someone else to appreciate this finely crafted teak duck call made when Emery Mitchell operated Iverson Game Bird Calls in Novato, CA. This is one of the nicest examples of the teak model. We had first selection from Emery's production run that year and chose this one for its nice figuring. Many of the teak models were fairly plain.This is the teak or standard duck using his later reed design. The 984L reed was replaced recently (we had extras) and has had very little use on it). As with all Iverson calls, this was hand-made and tuned for accurate tone. Note - this call shows field use and lanyard wear. It is not a mint condition "garage queen". The call comes apart easily and has no chips or cracking. Well cared for. Approximately 6" long. This is a core call - whether you want to use it for more seasons or add it to your collection. A fine example of this northern California custom call maker's craft. Will include a few extra factory corks as shown in the photo. Sold "As-Is". Shipped quickly.
