We've all experienced that moment when we wish we could start all over again. Failed marriages, lost friends, addictions, lost jobs. This is not the life we imagined. Yesterday can leave us stuck, sad, shamed, scared, and searching. Sheila wants you to face the pain head-on and then start again, from right where you are. In It's Okay Not to Be Okay, she helps you overcome the same old rut of struggles and pain by changing the way you think about God, yourself, and your everyday life. She shares practical, doable, daily strategies that will help you move forward one step at a time, knowing God will never let you down. It's never too late to start again... and there is healing and freedom in just taking the first step. Not self-help. God help. "Sheila speaks from a place of victory, grounded in the knowledge that we are meant to walk 'side by side with Jesus, learning to live freely and lightly.' Her encouragement and practical guidance will provide the tools you need to start again, discovering that through Christ you are always enough."-- Lisa Bevere, New York Times bestselling author and cofounder of Messenger International "Sheila Walsh doesn't merely write words, she lives her words--and the Word. When things aren't okay, I honestly don't know a wiser, more life-giving, Jesus-clinging guide than Sheila Walsh."-- Ann Voskamp, New York Times bestselling author of The Broken Way and One Thousand Gifts "In this powerful book, Sheila shares the transforming truth that life is a process and that God never leaves nor forsakes us. There are rarely quick fixes in life, but Jesus offers us hope, healing, and wholeness. Okay doesn't live here, but Jesus does."-- Christine Caine, founder of A21 and Propel Women "A beautifully practical way forward through the ache of feeling not-enough. Sheila reminds us that God is so near and willing to meet us in our deepest places of weakness and hurt."-- Jennie Allen, author of Nothing to Prove and founder and visionary of the IF:Gathering "A friend once told me that people aren't interested in what we got right nearly as much as how we've experienced divine redemption when we got it wrong. Sheila is always refreshingly transparent about where she's gotten it wrong so as to make Jesus the sole hero of her story. It's Okay Not to Be Okay is a deeply encouraging--quite possibly transformative--tome for stumbling saints!"-- Lisa Harper, bestselling author and Bible teacher Sheila Walsh is a powerful communicator, Bible teacher, and bestselling author with more than 5 million books sold. The books we sell are known as bargain books. They are books that either are overstocks from the publishers or ones that went out to a Christian bookstore or major department store and were returned to the publisher when they did not sell. They are not used, though sometimes have cover wear. The publishers sell these at a great discount in bulk. We buy these and sort through them to grade their condition. You will note that many of the books are in new condition, but others have other conditions noted. We try to describe them as accurately as possible. What is a remainder book? A remainder book is a brand new book that the publisher would like to get rid of because of overstock, discontinuing the book, etc. The publisher will sell these books in bulk to bargain book dealers at a low cost, allowing us to sell to you. Some publishers will put a line or dot on the on the bottom outside page edges to indicate that it is a remainder book. This keeps the "new" book prices higher and does not allow retailers to return them to the publisher. Other publishers do not mark them in any way. Some of the books we sell have a remainder mark, but many do not. Please complete the eBay checkout process within 5 days.
