Description: ITEM DESCRIPTIONIT'S HOWDY DOODY TIME 1955 LGB Little Golden book file copy Goldencraft 223$105.00 This book is part of a high grade group of books I bought from the publisher's own archives. They are sometimes referred to and even stamped inside as "file copies", meaning they were part of the company's records and in most cases were stored under superior conditions and handled almost never, so they rate in many instances very high condition-wise. They may have imperfections--which if significant--will be noted. Goldencraft binding (as labeled on the back cover) was a special cover for the book that was intended for library use only. It was cloth as opposed to laminated and thus more durable. Library copies saw HEAVY wear plus their interiors were marred with library card pockets, date stamps and covers had Dewey decimal labels on the spines. Not only are they near impossible to find in high grade, they are also legitimately rarer variations than the more common store bought versions with larger graphics on the cover. CONDITION--near mint, very minor edge wear and minor spine darkening, Simon and Shuster OFFERS---I list 20,000+ items a month on EBAY.
