Description: MIDDLE EASTERN BOX Vintage Middle Eastern Brass Islamic Trinket Box Inlaid With Silver & Copper. Cairo Ware style. Intricately designed to lid and base. The outside of the bowl has six panels, three alternating ones with a copper and silver finish with foliate engraving, and three silver panels with Islamic type script. The top of the box is beautifully designed and engraved with silver and copper inlay. The box has been polished but still retains signs of age. Date: mid 20th Century Condition: Good functional used condition a minor degree of tarnish to the brass. A beautiful piece. Measures: 9.5 cm diameter x 7 cm highWeight: 23 Grams
