Volume I, The "Infallibility" Of Modern Science, covers topics such as occult science, hidden and unknown natural forces (elementals, psychic phenomena, inner and outer man). Volume II, "Theology", is a treatise of the similarities of some major world religions and makes a case for the idea that they have their origin in the ancient "Wisdom Religion" and the principles of Hermetic philosophy. Here are some observations about this offered copy: This 4th Edition has been rebound at some point in its life. The original cloth spine bindings were saved and attached to the inside of the front cover. In that same space in Volume I, attached is a reprint from a publication ("Lucifer") about HPB's "Last Article". There are notes (largely in pencil) on various pages. A few pages have some staining, including from tape affixed to the top. There is some age related yellowing to the pages, but no foxing. The title page of Volume II is partially detached.
