Description: They call these groove joint on the packaging but in reality they are not. They are Cobra style that Knipex made famous and work and hold so much better than standard grove joint it kind of demeaning to call them that. If you have not switched to Cobra/Waterpump style pliers do yourself a favor. Knipex made this style originally and these may not be quite Knipex quality but they are damn close in build and more importantly functionality at near a third the cost. Irwin did a nice job with these and some stuff I favor over the Knipex When I switched all other standard groove joint pliers were removed from my toolbox. They work extremely well and so much better it is life and game changing. The design does not require you to squeeze the handles together to grip tight. Once set and locked down most all force can just be applied to the back handle and the harder you push the harder they grip. Much less fatigue and wear on your hands and wrists and much less damage to nuts, bolts, valves, fixtures etc. No more fumbling to find the right grove with these you can just slide the bottom jaw forward even without having to use the push button to it fits you bolt and your are ready to go. I could not find a video of these small ones but did find on for a larger size and you can see it below.
