This particular bog oak candleholder was a gift from relatives in Ireland. Candleholder is made of bog oak from Boora Bog in Offaly County. Check out: celtic-roots.com to see wonderful photos, history, etc. Included are 2 new red ball candles which sit securely on the metal holders which are attached to the large piece of bog oak. Candleholder comes in a burlap bag, with information about provenance; in turn, bag comes in a wooden box marked with the Celtic Roots Studio symbol/logo. Please see all photos. From my personal collection; only displayed. Candleholder measures 9” long x 4” wide x 4” high to level of metal holder. Wooden crate measures 10.5” long x 7.75” wide x 4.75” high. Red ball candles are from Denmark.
