They are made up of microscopic flakes that reflect light in a way that creates a two-tone colour effect that changes depending on the angle of view. Unlike other types of pigments that create a uniform colour or a simple colour shift, interference pearls create a complex and dynamic effect that appears to change and shift as the angle of view and the angle of the light source change. Shimmer Pearls 10-60 microns: Shimmer Pearls offer the middle ground of the 3 pearls giving more Sparkle than our Satin pearls whilst still giving a nice colour shift at certain viewing angles and will again totally disappear at others.
