Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison (1953, HC, First UK Edition/3rd Printing)

Description: A hardcover copy of 'Invisible Man' by Ralph Ellison. This copy is a First UK Edition/3rd Printing published by Victor Gollancz Ltd. The outside of the book has rub wear and stains. On the back cover there appears to be some white paint, which I was able to scrape off a little with my nail, so it may be removable. The spine does have some discoloration/fading, as well as some soil stains. There is some bump and rub wear along the edges, to the top and bottom of the spine, and some bump damage to the upper corners. The spine also has a slight lean, and the outer page edges are a bit dirty and have a few water stain spots to the top and side. Inside there is a previous owners information written in pen on the front free endpaper, but otherwise no other writing or markings to any of the other pages. There are no dog eared corners, but there is a little bending/folding to some corner tips from bumping, as well as some light bump wear along the side edges of some pages. There is a very tiny tear along the bottom edge of one page. A copy with some wear and tear from age, use, and storage, but overall still a solid copy.
