Description: Intl Collectors Library_ICL _The Decameron_Giovanni Boccaccio_1930_Very Good If Easton Press and Franklin Library are champagne, ICL is a good cold beer on a hot afternoon. Printed as a lower-cost alternative to the pricier leather-bound volumes, ICL books have nice decorative gilt covers and spines, they have a satin page-marker ribbon and they look good on a shelf at a fraction of the pricier marques. Copyright date of 1930 but I think this book is sometime in the 1960s because of the gold gilt top page-ends. Book is are in very good condition, boards and spine clean, gilt still intact and shiny, there is an owner's sticker inside the front cover, no other writing or marks inside, text-block solid, hinges tight, corners sharp. The publisher insert is present. There is some material loss on the top edge of the spine (ICL is notorious for brittleness as the thin leather ages). Please see pics for condition details.
