Description: This beautiful miniature antique Meji Era Japanese cloisonne box is a beautiful piece of art from the Meji era. The vase is a rare large size measuring 12.5” inches high. The work is absolutely stunning, being done entirely in silver wire, and beautifully constructed with gorgeous enamels. You really can’t appreciate the beauty of this piece unless it’s in front of you. Condition is excellent. Polish is beautiful and the artist was well in control of the surface. No pitting or bubble pops. Beautifully fired and polished. The piece has that extra something, when it’s in your hand, that just exemplifies quality. The colors are deep and beautiful the way they are applied and shaded. Very realistic and the wire work, though small, is super fine and super accurate. This is the hand of a skilled artist. Though the piece is u marked, it is definitely the work of Ando. It is however, accompanied by the original wrapping paper from the jewelers that sold it and is in the original tomoboken box. A nice extra. This item is a perfect addition to any collection of Asian antiques, especially for those who appreciate the art and history of Japan. The vase dates back to the 1900-1940 sort of time period, making it a rare find. Don't miss out on the chance to own this unique and exquisite piece of history.
