Description: Incomplete Green River Rifle Works (GRRW) Trappers Pistol Parts Set, 58 Cal. I purchased this pistol but the stock was not usable. Barrel staple underlug was broken off, front sight never installed. Parts original to the pistol: Siler Flintlock lock (which are now $295), 58 caliber GRRW barrel, trigger guard, trigger, trigger plate, lock bolt, tang bolt, rear sight. Parts I added to complete the parts set: ramrod thimble and pin, wedge key, under lug, escutcheon plates and screws, side plate, ramrod, ramrod tip, front sight. No stock included. Barrel measures 1" across the flats x 7" long. GRRW kit barrels were not normally marked and this one is no exception to the rule. I see a brazed repair on the tang. Original under staple is gone and there is a small tapped hole near the muzzle on the underside. Bore is bright and shiny. Only the rear sight was ever installed. Bought this from a friend at the Rocky Mountain National Rendezvous that purchased it in Roosevelt, Utah at the GRRW plant back in the 1970's. I have no reason to doubt his story. Barrel lands and grooves (7) look like every other GRRW barrel I've seen. This is not a firearm. This ad meets ebay requirements.
