Description: This is an original 1951 hardcover printing (likely first edition based on the information on the dust jacket flaps and on the back of the title page, though not stated) of "Immortal Pirate: The Life of Sir Francis Drake," written by Marguerite Eyer Wilbur. Overall, the book is in fair/good vintage condition. As you'll see in my first five photos, the dust jacket is present but has noticeable wear, including heavy chipping and many small tears along all of the edges, while the covers themselves have only light wear. Inside, the pages are clean (only a few isolated small, light stains), crisp, and strongly bound; the only writing or marking I found is an ink stamp and a signature of a previous owner on the first page (shown in my 6th photo). Also, all pages have a mild basement smell, likely due to storage in a basement or other humid area for an extended time.
