Description: This antique milk jug by Picquot Ware is a stunning piece of vintage collectable, in fantastic, shiny unused condition with its original packing slip. The design CB from the 1960s is a beautiful addition to any collection. Made in the United Kingdom, this item is truly a gem from a bygone era. Whilst unused, there are a couple of age related marks. Picquot Ware Milk Jug Elegant style 1960 Model CB Made in England Magnailium. This pot measures 4" high to the top of the handle. Length from handle end 5" Depth 3,25" Weight 263 g This is a mid century modern classic, many decades ahead of its time. Made in Northampton, Picquot Ware: A superb and stylish Picquot Ware mid 20th century design sugar bowl. This is the "S6" design which was first produced in the 1960's by Burrage and Boyd. Cast in Magnailium, an alloy of Manganese and Aluminium, it is both strong and relatively light, and retains a good polished silver finish, which can easily be reinstated. All of this range were made to the very highest standards and were both complex and expensive to cast. Picquot Ware ceased manufacture in the 1980's, when they could no longer compete with the cheap inferior Chinese imports.
