Description: Nice vintage Ilex-Calumet lens in Ilex Acme shutter. For large format camera or enlarger. Lens is marked "Ilex-Calumet Caltar No. 4005 8-1/2" (215mm) f:6.3 Made in U.S.A." Shutter is marked "No. 3 Acme Synchro Ilex Optical Co. Rochester, N.Y." I am not an expert. Lens surfaces need cleaning and inspection, they do not show abuse. All dials and knobs do seem to work normally: shutter sets and releases, aperture adjusts, cable release works when center is pushed, shutter speed dial adjusts. Cable release attachment is marked "Japan" and shows light damage. This set is being sold as-is with no returns. See my eBay Store for the useful, vintage, well loved, nearly new and other old stuff.
