Description: Ihagee Exakta Varex IIa 35mm camera with Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm F2.8 lens: Many collectors still consider this model as the most beautiful Varex. This camera is in near mint overall condition. The body has no blemishes, scratches or dents. The fact that it has been stored in it's original leather case all these years obviously contributes to the fine condition. The shutter is snappy and it would appear that shutter speeds are OK, but we can obviously not guarantee accuracy.The Zeiss Tessar lens is clear and free from haze, scratches and fungus. There is virtually no dust in the lens. Focus and aperture movements are silky smooth. Comes with it's original front lens cap. The camera comes in it's original leather case, which is in fine condition. One seldom finds them in this condition, so do not miss this one!
