Description: Trans World Entertainment Sp VHS of IFD's ""Ninja Showdown" with Richard Harrison, 1986. Robert Lai is listed as director as well as producer of this cut and paste production using footage from the Taiwanese crime drama "The Village Brother"(1983) with new Hong Kong Ninja footage. This may explain the strange choice of edits going from scenes of bright sunlight and cutting to dark night and back again. The ninja pronouncements from Richard Harrison to his ninja followers as well some of the dubbing are especially laughable. After addressing his followers, one them asks "what does that mean, master?" Good question. You may be asking that yourself. Final fight includes the use of deadly Ninja frisbees. Beware The Purple Ninjas!! A former rental, the video cassete shows only slight wear. Upon viewing, the tape itself show little or no wear. The clamshell box has some minor damage (pictured) but as this is a double wall type construction, the inside of the clamshell (pictured) is completely intact and seals perfectly. Good condition overall or better. Some fading to clamshell pictures/artwork noted. Multiple purchases will have excess postage fees refunded if all the items are checked out and purchased at the same time. Lower 48 States only. No international sales. t
