As she scurries out of the restaurant, Lucy accidentally causes a platter of desserts to land on her idol. As fate would have it, Ricky meets William Holden at the studio later in the day and accepts his offer of a ride back to the hotel. Ricky invites Holden up to their suite to meet his biggest fan, Lucy. Mortified by her previous encounter, Lucy disguises herself with glasses, scarf and an oversized putty nose, which she manages to catch on fire, and then comically extinugishes in a cup of coffee! Holden show himself to be a gentleman, despite all of Lucy's antics, and doesn't let on that he's already met the zany redhead. In return, Lucy gratefully rewards him with a kiss.
