HUGE 76” X 48” DREAMGIRLS Vinyl Lobby Poster (2006) Jamie Foxx

Description: Vintage original 76x48 1/2 inches single sided vinyl lobby poster. From the smash 2000's musical biopic, DREAMGIRLS, released in 2006 by Paramount Pictures and directed by Bill Condon. Based on the original Broadway production book by Tom Eyen, a trio of black female soul singers cross-over to the pop charts in the early 1960's, facing their own personal struggles along the way. The cast includes Jamie Foxx, Beyoncé Knowles, Eddie Murphy, Jennifer Hudson, Anika Noni Rose, and Danny Glover. My son worked at the movie theater and brought this home from work. I don’t know if it was ever used or not. It is in beautiful unrestored condition and rolled as originally issued, it is in fine+ condition. They have been stored in a dry area for the past 17 years and we’re just taken out for the first time when I listed it. It’s in like new condition. Still has wrinkles from being rolled up but I think they’ll smooth out once it lays in the sun or gets hung up. The beautiful color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading. Includes the top dowel used for hanging it. For her performance as Effie White, singer Jennifer Hudson won an Academy Award for "Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role."
