I was very fortunate to be offered a large collection of these fabulous textiles. This is one from the collection. I can't get over the time it must have taken to make these amazing pieces. The collection dates from late 1800's to mid 1970's , difficult to say exactly on these textiles. They make fabulous bedcovers, upholstery fabric, tablecloths, wall hangings, shower curtains ( with plastic between the shower and textile) living room throws, you name it!~ they can be cut to make two curtains etc ~ They are absolutely remarkable pieces, each unique and wonderful in its own way! Please message with any questions ~*~ Please see below for condition and measurements ~ ITEM SPECIFICS : This stunning work of art dates from around the 1930's,this is one of the larges and most beautiful in this collection ~ I LOVE this piece, it's 10 times better in person, this piece didn't photograph well no matter what I did!~ It's STUNNING. The colors are terracottas, chartreus, pinks , greens, blues and browns ~ The colors are far more beautiful in person ~ wonderful muted tones. This is the work of a genius embroiderer that knew how to use color and composition ~ a work of ART MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures approximately : 108 inches by 105 inches CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition.
