Description: A beautifully detailed rare and hard to find vintage solid pewter miniature figurine of a charging Union army infantry soldier in full uniform. He's carrying a long rifle musket with bayonet by Hudson Pewter and artist / sculptor Dennis Liberty (DL). The figurine / replacement pawn is part of Hudson's Civil War Chess set. The artist made the union army figures a dark color to resemble blue and the confederate pieces a lighter color to resemble gray. The figurine measures 1 3/4" tall 3" wide and 1" deep. The yellow block is 1" to give you an idea of the size of the figurine. The base is stamped "DL 92" and the bottom is stamped "Hudson Fine Pewter 7118 USA" see pics. This lovely figurine would display great in your home office desk, fireplace mantel, man cave, cabin, paperweight art decor or make a nice gift.
